Drekis Characters (Major and Minor)

Drekis: Drekis is for the most part an enigma, and his history is skewered by rumours and legends. All that is really known about Drekis is that he is the Supreme Avatar of Chaos, which puts him among the seven principle Avatars of the Universe. It is said that Drekis was once a much different man, but he was led astray by the Chaos Lord Ceregodoth, who in legend is also known as Selegon the Unbalanced. Tales say that Drekis was given his power and rank by this infamous chaos god; the problem is that few people can confirm the events which led to Drekis' creation. The Chaos god was brought down in a war that took place thousands of years ago, on a planet far from Khazan, so much of what really happened was lost in history. Many years before the War of Drekis on Khazan, Drekis started an interstellar war that was largely fought against the Galactic Defense Force. The GDF was formed as an alliance to combat the Drekis Empire, which had been roaming from planet to planet, destroying and assimilating all life found on each one before moving on. This war later became known as the War of Oblivion's Fall, and ended ten years before the War of Drekis began. In that time, Drekis arrived on Khazan in secret, where he rebuilt his empire in the dark of the Endless Caves. Now Drekis apparently plans to finish some sort of grand design, and for some reason it is fitting that the final phase of his plan take place on the nexus of all realities.
Data is still being gathered on Drekis' abilities. He has so far shown the ability to manifest and control chaos energy and chaos magic, the likes of which give him great destructive power at any range. His body is also made of an unconventional matter that has no real permanent form. Using the power of Chaos, Drekis can break down the state of matter and transform it into other shapes, or even reconstruct matter as another form of matter. He can also alter reality slightly by performing a teleportation of himself or other objects.

Jon "DarkenFire" Avalon: Jon Avalon was a rash space pirate who operated on his own. Darkenfire, meanwhile, was a general who served Drekis and controlled a portion of the Chaos Legion. DarkenFire was killed during the War of Oblivion's Fall, and soon afterwards Drekis encountered Jon Avalon, who had been watching Drekis' empire attack a planet from orbit. Drekis gave Avalon an offer that would make him a general of the Drekis empire, but Avalon refused and took off on his own once again. A few months later, Jon was killed by a competing space pirate, and his body was discovered by Drekis. Drekis ressurected Avalon, transforming his body and mind into a completely new being--although Avalon would maintain a large percentage of his former memories. With his new mind, Avalon was no longer rash and overconfident; he became a cold, calculating individual, and a grand swordsman who perfected his techniques every time that he lost a fight. He soon ascended the ranks of the Drekis Empire, becoming one of the strongest generals in the legion, as well as one of thier best tacticians. A great deal of his new found power comes from the strength that the long-dead Darkenfire had once possessed; Drekis took back the power that he had given his former minion, and then chose to bestow it on Avalon when he became a general. Jon has the ability to create an energy sword in his hand that is made from Chaos energy. This blade can also project chaos energy over long distances. The power that he inherited from Darkenfire is often referred to as the 'Darkenfire' aura, which appears around Jon's body as a dark cloud and a swirling vortex. This aura acts as a barrier to protect him, but the vortex also swallows up any attacks which are directed against it; these attacks are then corrupted by Jon's energy and are launched back at the opponent. He rides into battle on his loyal battlemount, a small dragon named Zegrin.

Horror: Horror was a humanoid life form who grew up on a planet many light years away from Khazan. As a young boy he experienced a terrible tragedy, losing his entire family while he grew up alone and without friends. He envied all of the happy people that he met in his life, and this envy soon turned into hatred, disdain, malice. By the time Drekis attacked his homeworld and found him, the boy's hatred had become so powerful that the Chaos Lord could feel it radiating out of his body. Drekis took the boy in and gave him a new name, one that was approriate for the power that he was about to bestow on him. He became Horror, a general of the Drekis Empire, and was gifted with the ability to enter his enemy's mind and instill terror, depression, and pain into his/her thoughts. He is seemingly emotionless, but he enjoys to see other people tremble with emotional pain. Although his attacks are mostly of a mental or psychic variety, he can also form a blade of fire in his hands to finish his opponents off after he has toyed with their mind long enough. Horror is rather apathetic when it comes to defending himself; despite enjoying his line of work, Horror has no real concern for any life, including his own. However, Horror is not the kind of person who can die easily. Drekis gave him a kind of immortality, an ability to regenerate from any kind of damage; even destroying his head, his empty heart, or most of his body will yield no real results. He will always come back from any ordeal--regenerate any wounds. The only way to conceivably kill him is to destroy every last piece of his body with one attack, thus leaving him with nothing left to regenerate from.

Aigonis Zekruel: Aigonis Zekruel is a creature who resembles a humanoid lizard with pearl-white scales and a long tail. He has two large, dragon-like wings extending from his back. Zekruel originally belonged to a race of these lizard men, and in his society he was a criminal. He was captured by the authorities of his world and placed in torture-society prison while he awaited the scheduled date of his execution. Before his death could come, his planet was devastated by Drekis' Chaos Empire. Drekis saw potential in the wild, untamed spirit that Aigonis possessed--the kind of spirit that had made him become a criminal in the first place. Drekis promised to give Zekruel power greater than he ever imagined if he pledged his loyalty to him; Aigonis readily accepted the offer. Aigonis is now a general of the Drekis Empire, and although he is largely regarded as the second weakest of thier order, he is also one of the most unpredictable among the generals. His own powers include the ability to generate a toxic field around the entire area that he occupies; this aura is invisible to the naked eye for the most part, but it both poisons and burns anyone else who stands within the miasma. This potent poison also flows through Aigonis' body, and if he bites anyone with his fangs or cuts into their skin with his claws, he can inject a liquid form of this poison into his opponent; this will result in a quick but painful death in which the opponent's innards are melted down. Zekruel is also very fast, both on land and during flight. He has advanced senses that allow him to track an opponent by simply using smell, hearing, and sensing the vibrations in the air. In fact, he often keeps his eyes closed during battle. If he does open them, he gives himself yet another advantage; his sight is enchanted to the point that he can see things at a higher speed, which means that all normal movements appear to be moving in slow motion from his point of view. His deadliest weapon is the Starblade, a legendary sword that he discovered and added to his arsenal after he pillaged a class III civilized world. The Starblade is a weapon which can transform itself into any kind of weapon that the user imagines; a sword, a halberd, a flail with an extending chain...anything. Regardless of what the weapon looks like, its power is formidable, and it is capable of clashing with legendary swords such as Chrysillium, the sword of light, and Dorchadas Laan, the sword of darkness.
