Drekis Cannon-Fodder Minion Database

This page is a small guide that describes the Drekis Empire in terms of its army minions. This does not include special minions or generals (typically the ones I enter into the FPL) but only the non-unique creatures that fight in Drekis' armies.

Under Construction Still. Pictures to follow up later.

Deminite Worker/Drone:

Deminite Workers resemble an ape with a hunched back, but have dark, hairless skin with sharp armored edges. They have sharp claws and teeth as well as horns that often make people refer to them as demons, but they are relatively weak and are never used in combat. They stay in the hives or bases where they use their talents in other ways. A drone as the ability to convert any form of matter into a material known as DarkStone. Darkstone looks like typical rock, but it is extremely dark and very strong. Typically, a drone will convert an entire hive into DarkStone, allowing the hive to survive orbital bombardments from Space battleships. Since the transformation process takes a long time and cannot work on living matter (flesh etc) it is not used in combat.

Deminite Spawnling:

Spawnlings are small football-sized creatures created in the Hives. They look like snakes with a eyeless, demonic face with nasty teeth. They can bury themselves into dead bodies, or a living body if it is captured in the hive, and inject the DNA of another Drekis minion into the target, beginning a process by which that body will become the matching creature.

Deminite Soldier:

The grunts of the army. Deminite Soldiers are the mainstay of the Drekis Empire. Though weak individually, they are fierce and dangerous in numbers. They defeat opponents by overwhelming them with unbelievable numbers. They are humanoid and can stand upright, but have dark, hard skin with sharp spikes covering their body. Their faces resemble that of a mans, but they have horns, sharp teeth, and triangular eyes. Despite the fact that they are relatively unintelligent, they are pyrokinetics who have the ability to create and control fire. They are also extremely loyal and will attack without hesitation or fear of death. When one dies, five typically rise to take his place. They lack any form of defense other than a damage field.

Ptera-Deminite:

Another typical minion. While the Soldier cover the ground, the ptera-deminites blanket the skies. They resemble a prehistoric flying creature in many ways, though smaller and uglier. They can fly at high altitudes and at high speeds, and attack either will powerful claws/teeth or with long-ranged electric based attacks. Unlike the Soldiers, Ptera-Deminites actually protect themselves with a form of force field. They have a wingspan of about thirty feet.

Hunter Killer:

Hunter Killers are an intelligent, humanoid creature, though their scaly skin and red eyes easily identify them as something different from a human. They always dress in a special battle armor suit and equip themselves with a multi-purpose gun. Standing 8 feet tall, the Hunter Killers are strong, fast, and are skilled marksmans. They are the assasins and occasionally the scouts of the Drekis Empire. The Gun they use has 3 modes, a long range single fire laser mode; a rapid fire burst laser mode, and a missile launcher with 3 anti-aircraft missiles. Hunter Killers have an acute sense of smell, good eyes, a tracking radar, and have the ability to blend in with their environment.

Hive Guard:

A much more rare creature than most of the others, Hive Guards usually stay in the Hive as their name might suggest, though many times an army will consist of ten to twelve of them. Hive guards are tall creatures with bulky upper bodies with dark, hard skin. They have disproportionate limbs that get smaller as they extend out. It has no hands, but rather two scythe blades that are quite powerful. Their faces have very little detail other than two red eyes. Hive Guards are resistant to magic and can fire optic blasts. Their most useful power is the ability to cause all Drekis minions within thirty feet of the Hive Guard to go into "Berserk Mode" in which they become faster, stronger, and in every way more powerful than before.

Reptillions:

Humanoid reptillians spawned by Drekis many centuries ago. They are about 7 feet tall and wear light body armor for protection. Reptillions have green skin and long tails, and they have long claws that allow them to climb almost anything. These agile creatures use swords in battle. Not just any swords, but magic swords sheated in light, almost invisible energy. They are quite good at using the swords, and call also spit acid at opponents. Though agile, they are dumb in every other way and have little protection.

Reaver:

Reavers are small creatures about 3 to 4 feet tall on average. They are even weaker than Deminite Soldiers in terms of defense, but they make up for it in speed. Easily one of the fastest lesser minions, Reavers use their small size to hide amongst the much larger minions of the army and then use their intense speed to attack an opposing enemy before they can react. Their hands, like the Hive guards, are scythes, and they can cut through body armor quite effectively. Reavers serve little purpose other than running in and killing as much as possible before they get killed.

Terror Beast:

A Terror Beast is a biological starship, in fact, it is a living creature spawned in the hives. They are sentient and capable of completing their master's orders themselves. They have no need for a crew and can fly in an atmosphere or in space. Highly evolved terror beasts have access to hyperspace travel. They have large "sacks" scattered throughout that can hold other smaller minions inside for transportation. They have a large triangular body with a 'head' similar to that of a Praying Mantis. They are jet black, and have large cannon-shaped appendages that are actually particle beam cannons. They have approximatly fourteen particle beam cannons and six energy torpedo launchers. Highly evolved terror beasts can regenerate from wounds at an insane rate. Terror Beasts that have evolved even more have 300-600 Terajoule force fields.
Deminite Gunner:

Deminite Gunners look like taller versions of the hive drones, as they are hunched over. They look like deformed humans at times and are relatively slow, but surprisingly powerful. They have giant humps on their backs that have a cannon-shaped appendage that is, in fact, a cannon of sorts. Gunners are very good at hitting targets from far away, and they are often found in the back of an army, or in the front line, where they shower their opponents with blasts. The cannons fire long ranged energy particle shots that pierce the skies and strike their designated target. The impact and shockwave is enough to shatter a large portion of a city block, but it then releases its energy outward in a circle, covering about 100 meter radius or so with flames. They lack any form of defense and never engange in head to head combat.

Arachnis:

The Arachnis got their names from their spider-like appearance, but in all honesty, they cannot be classified as arachnids, for they have only four legs. Otherwise, the creatures do indeed look like football-sized spiders that are a sickly shade of silver. Their exoskeleton provides a lot of protection to physical beating, but guns and other advanced weaponry can kill them quite easily. Like Deminite soldiers and Reavers, these relatively weak creatures rely on numbers to overwhelm their opponents, often attacking in swarms of several hundred just again a small group. They attack either through injecting a potent poison through their fangs, or can actually spit their toxin into the eyes or mouth of an enemy if they are within 30 feet of him.

Arachnis Queen:

The Queens are far more unique when compared to their children, and their appearance is quite odd, mostly because they look nothing like the Arachnis at all. They are typcially forty to sixty feet long and have extremely thick and tough bodies resembling that of a snakes. They possess small, spider-like legs along the snake-like body, which almost gives them the appearance of a centipede. The head looks like something straight out of the Alien Movies, with a gaping jaw and jagged teeth. They burrow through the ground and travel underneath at impressive speeds. Above land, they can surprise opponents with an attack from below and can also shoot out burts of webbing that is strong enough to strong fighters in place long enough for other minions to kill them. An Arachnis Queen can spawn 100 Arachnis every 4 days if they want to.

Reptillion Commander:

The Reptillion Commanders look exactly like standard Reptillions, except they have red skin and have shiny spikes on the top of their head. They arm themselves with the same magical swords of their lesser cousins, yet they are much more adept that using them. Where as Reptillions are rather stupid, the Commanders are smart, strategic creatures. They are rare in comparrison to normal reptillions, and often act as sub-commanders for a General's army. They speak only the tounge of the Drekis Empire. Commanders spit fireballs instead of acid, and they are armed with a magically enchanced shield that reflects certain attacks back at their opponent.

Demon Warrior:

The classic demon humanoid dressed in solid black body armor from hell. That's what these creatures are. 8 feet tall and bristling with spikes and talons, these ugly horned beasts wear tough body armor that is often reinforced by the Drones. They can create a variety of weapons made of hellish fire, usually swords, spears, or battleaxes. They are strong, fast, agile, and relatively smart compared to other lesser beings. Their numbers aren't anywhere near the level of a Deminite Soldier or Reaver, but they are effective nontheless due to their greater power.

Devonox:

A species of demon created by the Drekis Empire. Dumb as an ox, these 14 feet tall brutes are a bright red color and are extremely bulky. Their arms are even longer than their bodies and have three massive talons at the end of each one. Their faces look like a mutated demonic gorilla of sorts, though they don't have horns. They have no ranged weaponry, but their strength is enormous and they can take just as much punishment as they can dish out.

Phantom Sorcerer:

Phantom Sorcerers are ghost-like spirit creatures. They appear to be green spirits dressed in cloaks with hoods that cover their faces. They are among the most intelligent members of the lesser minions, and are quite powerful as well. Killing a phantom sorcere often requires a great deal of energy, as they are immune to most physical attacks. They are sorcerers, as their name suggests, and cast dark spells either to hurt their opponents or help allies. Spells include long ranged piercing beams, magic missiles, fireballs, chain lightning, flame shields, etc. They can also conjur force fields and can alter the weather slightly in favor of their Empire

Serpent:

Serpents are about seventy feet long and resemble dragons of ancient stories, though they have no wings and no limbs. They are sea-based creatures with long snake bodies. They can slither on land, though they are vulnerable in that position. The giant beasts swim underwater and attack any threat to the Drekis Empire that dwells in the seas. They are extremely fast in water, and their cold bodies allow themselves to avoid weapon locks that rely on heat. They have two methods of attack rather than constriction or use of their massive jaws. Firstly, they have an uncanny control of magnetism. A single Serpent can cause one massive sea battleship to crash into another simply by using magnetic pull. A group of fifteen or so Serpents swimming around one submarine or ship can generate a magnetic field so powerful that the sub/ship will implode. Secondly, they have long spikes covering their bodies that can shoot out as if they were torpedoes. They will pierce the hull of the target, and three seconds later they will explode. These spikes regenerate themselves for an effective method of attaining infinite ammo.

Crawlers:

A Crawler, also known as the Tanker, is a huge monster roughly fifty feet long and thirty feet high. They walk on six gigantic spider-like legs, and despite their size, they can outrun most cars if they want to. A crawler acts as a mobile transportation unit, as it has six rather large "sacks" that can hold numerous Deminites and other lesser minions. Using their tough armor and iron will, a Crawler will ram themselves through enemy defenses and will then release all the minions they carry into battle. The crawler itself has two attacks. Its close range attack is a blue-fire breath that it uses to strafe nearby areas and kill numerous enemy troops. Secondly, they have six large biological cannons on their backs. Each can fire a massive plasma shot at long range consecutively, or they can come together to form one massive shot. Consecutive blasts can destroy houses, a single combined will destroy an armored building.

Nova Beasts:

Nova beasts are immense creatures, roughly 2.5 miles long. Their bodies are wide like a turtles, but they have six large arms and a massive demon head. They are like Terror Beasts as they are biological sentient starships capable of entering atmospheres or travelling in space. Roughly 45% of their insides is hollow, and has been altered by Hive Drones to create hallways, chambers, and other things that make the creature seem like an actual ship. It can carry an incredible number of minions, and can even carry Crawlers on board. The Nova beasts have two major attacks. They can fire an immense heavy particle beam from their mouths that can destroy most heavy warships with one or two blasts. Their second is the ability to shoot larger versions of the energy torpedoes used by the Terror Beasts in their hands(thus they have six launchers). For defense, they can heal their biological hulls just as quickly as the Terror Beasts, and they have powerful force fields.

Bio-Fighter:

A biological starfighter roughly ten meters long. They are sentient creatures capable of flying in a planets atmosphere or in space at quick speeds. Since they have no pilot, they do not have to worry about forces of gravity or friction, and can make insane manuevers. They have four large spike structures at their four corners and have dark, armored skin for protection. Like terror beasts, a bio-fighter regenerates from damage and also has force fields. They attack both with "laser cannons" that are actually eldrich blasts, and they have the ability to create missiles (weapon creation) and use them.

Demon Sorcerer:

The other sorerers of the empire. Demon Sorcerers are coporeal and fragile, but rather powerful. Their spells aren't quite as powerful as a phantoms in terms of damage, but they have many other spells that they can put to good use. They are best suited for using a massive teleportation spell that can transport a large number or Drekis Troops to another area almost instantly. Since they are fragile, they never engage in combat directly unless protected by other, more expendable minions.

Deminite Wolves:

The Wolves got their names long ago because they resemble large dogs, though they have no real fur, just dark, spiny armored skin. They have sharp teeth and are among the fastest in the Drekis Empire's lesser minions, outrun only by the Reavers. Wolves are relentless and Fierce, attacking their opponents without hesitation. They are occasionally used in scouts, though they will also be found attacking inside of large armies, using their insane numbers to overwhelm other enemies. Their primary purpose is the use of their Emotion Control. Deminite Wolves have the ability to make a person feel fear, its just an ability they have. Alone, one Wolve cannot do much, but an entire army of these creatures can combine their efforts to throw the resolve of an entire opposing army into chaos. They have little in terms of defense besides their speed, but they can attack at long range with a type of radioactive breath (think Godzilla).
